From a library in Leeds...

Hey there! So I'm in Leeds right now! I went on Exchange with Elder Manugh last week, and so I was in Skipton with Elder Cole. It was super fun! It was nice to get to be with someone from Arizona for a change! We talked about home, and things we missed, and then tried to explain what a Haboob was to Elder Van Boom, lol! So I'm now about to go on exchange with Elder Cole, so I'll be with Elder Manugh in Skipton. So my bag right now is HEAVY! But it's all good, it's such a great learning experience being around other Elders, and getting to see how they do certain things.

At a bus stop in rainy weather (AKA the usual weather)
So yeah, we're in the Leed's Library right now, on our way to the Leed's chapel to meet up with Elders for exchange, and hang out for a bit on our Pday. We'll probably watch a movie or something. I feel like I should explain one thing. The rules here in Leed's are a bit more relaxed then some of the other missions. Apparently (According to Elder Schwarzkopf), the Elders and Sisters were having panic/anxiety attacks left and right about a year ago, so when President Pilkington came in, he relaxed the rules a tiiinnnnnyyyyy bit, so the missionaries weren't breaking down every week and trying to jump through windows. So some things that are a bit different.
 1. we can have "Music", sorta... the guideline we have for music, is music that invites the spirit.

2. We don't have to give our "Key indicators" all the time. It was messing up a lot of the Missionaries when they kept getting told that they were here to focus on the peoples needs, not just baptizing a lot of them, but then they were suppose to constantly tally up their numbers and relay them to District leaders for judgment.

3. We're suppose to be really open about our issues, or whats bugging us. In fact, they had one of the talks at Zone Conference entirely devoted to a Doctor explaining stress, how it works, and what point we need to be worried, and how to cope with those feelings (Pretty much just rub your hands and think of puppies).

So yeah, it's just a bit different, but you can definitely see how much it's helped the missionaries here. All of the ones I've talked to were about two seconds away from being Committed before the new rules came out. Ok, I've given myself about 30 minutes to figure out this camera thing, which means I wasn't able to individually write to each of you, so I'll just say I Love you all, and I really hope Roxy isn't tooooo banged up! :(  (he's referring to receiving news his car was in a little accident)
